Free rides all summer

SummerOfFun_800px.jpg

Calling all students: METRO's Summer of Fun allows you to explore Houston on all our buses and trains – for free!

All you need is a Student METRO Q® Fare Card.  If you already have one, tap and nothing will be deducted from your balance. If you don't have a student card, get one here. Free rides are for students in grades K-12, plus students enrolled in a college or university.

This free offer expires Aug. 31, 2019. On Sept. 1, 2019, your Q® Card reverts to a discounted card in which your half-price fare is deducted when you board a train or bus.

So, no excuses not to plan some urban adventures this summer – from museums to parks to the zoo. METRO's here to take you everywhere around town – free for all students!
