This weekend is the start of spring break for thousands of students, and the weather forecast promises warmer temperatures. We've got some exciting activities for the whole family – from an Xtreme Spring Break at the Children's Museum with a different fun event each day to a giant show on what your teens are probably looking forward to – sleeping.
Of course, the rodeo is still in full swing, and METRO has shuttles and extended train schedules to get you there and back safely.

Event: Xtreme Spring Break 2019. Look for action-packed adventure from March 9 – 17. You'll find five Xtreme Zones to explore: Bungee Trampolines, Human Hamster Ball, Sticky Ball Arena; Kids Hall Carnival and S.E.C.R.E.T. Spy Games. Daily shows at 3 p.m. include performances by a juggler, taekwondo martial arts students, a magician – and a few "disc-functional" dogs.
When: Friday & Saturday – 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.; Sunday, 12 to 6 p.m., Monday, March 11 – open during spring break, 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.

Event: Sleep Show. Do you toss and turn trying to fall asleep? Or maybe you experience interrupted sleep, and then you can't drift back to dreamland again. The National Sleep Foundation is sponsoring this expo where you'll hear experts talk on the science of sleep, and you'll get to touch and see the latest sleep technology in bedding, travel and baby's needs, too.
When: Friday, 12 to 6 p.m.; Saturday, 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.; Sunday, 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Event: "Vincent van Gogh: His Life in Art." This major exhibit showcases more than 50 masterworks by Van Gogh (1853-1890) through four stages of his career. It includes paintings from his early years in the Netherlands to his productive period in Paris to his years in the South of France, searching for just the right color and light.
When: Sunday, 12:15 to 7 p.m. (Runs through June 27.)
