Walk inside NRG Stadium to attend the world's biggest rodeo, and you'll see METRO's new booth with a big sign: METRONext.
We are staffing our rodeo booth from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. and will have logged 252 hours by the end of the rodeo on March 17.
Our friendly staff and Street Team members are there to tell you about our exciting new regional transit plan for the future, METRONext – and get your ideas on how we can improve METRO as our city grows. Comment cards are available for you to jot down a quick idea.
"We're in a good spot," said Mike Martinez, director of Public Engagement. "There are large numbers attending the rodeo, and that's one of the biggest reasons we're there – to engage with people about METRONext and the Moving Forward draft plan. We're getting a lot of positive feedback."
If you're driving to the rodeo, park at one of these lots and then walk to the Red Line. It's only $1.25 one-way. Or park in a transit center or Park & Ride lot for free, then buy a fare on our rodeo shuttles.
Look for our booth to your right as soon as you enter the main entrance. Stop by, say hi, and learn more about METRO. We're waiting for you!
