Weekend fun with METRO: Feb. 22-24

This weekend, we've got a variety of fun activities for you – so dust off your cowboy boots, check out some furniture that will make you rethink your environment (and no, we're not talking about shopping), and sing along with some fave pop tunes.

Wherever you go to enjoy your leisure time, consider taking METRO. You can text without distraction, not deal with the stress of parking, save a few dollars on gas and get dropped off within walking distance – no parking fees. Look at our Google-powered Trip Planner to find the exact bus or train to get to your destination.

Event: "Tom Loeser: Please Please Please." This traveling exhibition encourages viewers to re-examine their habits and the way they interact with the environment. Loeser's work raises a question: "If the furniture we sit on every day were totally different, would our lives be different, too?" Both kids and adults will enjoy this fun, colorful show that displays Wisconsin-based artist Tom Loeser's furniture with his series of prints. Check out this imaginative designer's work, turning furniture upside-down and inside-out.  Free.
