With brightly wrapped gifts under the tree, and the kids out of school, you may be looking for special ways to create memories during this holiday season. Start a tradition with the majestic music of Handel's Messiah. Want something a little lighter for the kids? Go see a play where an American teen-ager finds Christmas magic in London.

Or, take a break from seasonal activity, and check out an amazing interactive art installation produced by Cocolab, a Mexican digital art studio. It's free if you've already blown your budget this month.

Wherever you go to have fun, take METRO. It's one of the best bargains in town at only $1.25 for local buses and trains. Seniors and students ride half price, and children five and under are free. Use our Google-powered Trip Planner to find the exact bus or train from your starting point.
