We're giving you two more reasons to love your METRO Q® Fare Card.
We've just made our Rider Rewards program more robust by adding two new restaurants that will give you discounts – simply by showing your Q Card.
When you discover these businesses along the rail, you can reward yourself. Show any valid METRO fare item and receive a discount.
SeaSide Poke on Lamar Street offers a 10 percent discount on a bowl. Poke is a raw fish salad in Hawaiian cuisine that has evolved into a main dish using fish such as salmon and albacore, along with a variety of toppings, such as avocado and seaweed salad. SeaSide sources its ingredients locally.
From the Downtown Transit Center, you can take 52 Hardy-Ley northbound, exit at San Jacinto and Dallas, then transfer to the free 412 Greenlink circulator shuttle going eastbound. Hop off at Dallas and Avenida de las Americas. Or use our Google-powered Trip Planner to find the best route to get to there from wherever you are.
If you prefer meat to fish, try the latest burger eatery to offer METRO riders a discount. Village BBQ offers 10 percent off on all meals. Located on Main Street in the Texas Medical Center, Village BBQ has recently reopened and is ready to serve hamburgers, breakfasts, grilled sandwiches, tortilla rolls and salads.
To get to Village BBQ, just hop on the Red Line and exit at Dryden/TMC Center.
Check out all the restaurants, museums and shops that are offering a discount to all METRO customers. Ride METRO – and get rewarded.
