I don't know about you, but I'm ready for another weekend. I've found a variety of events that you and the family can enjoy. Let's start with an evening outdoors, watching performances by a local dance company. I'm also recommending the newest production of The Sound of Music, as well as an afternoon at a museum, learning how art is created. It all adds up to a quiet, relaxing weekend, and we all appreciate those.
METRO loves to help you relax. There's nothing more relaxing than sitting back and letting someone else drive you around town. Go to our Trip Planner for all the information you'll need to ride METRO to this weekend's events, and remember that this is the first weekend that kids, K through college, can ride everywhere for free. Nice bonus, right? If you didn't know about that, it's the Summer of Fun program – click and learn about it. Have a terrific weekend!
Event: Sizzling Summer Dance. Spend a pleasant evening under the stars watching the season's final dance concert from METdance. You'll see a variety of works from different cultural backgrounds, movement styles and inspirations. It's a suitable program for all ages, and the MET too Youth Company will participate in the performance. Two of the works are brand new, one a world premiere. Live music will be furnished by Two Star Symphony.

You'll learn about painting, porcelain, sketching and art conservation. This activity is free with your admission, and admission is free for ages 12 and younger.
