Our light-rail trains run at-grade with regular street traffic. That makes it important that you pay attention when driving anywhere near the rail. Do not try to sneak an illegal left turn in front of an oncoming train. Obey the rules of the road to stay safe. Never try to beat a train - a light-rail car weighs 98,500 pounds empty and can't stop on a dime.
Watch these videos, and the next time you are driving along the rail, remember: Stop, look and listen.
