If you've been on board a METRO bus lately, you may have noticed a new feature: USB ports. This convenient component allows customers to charge their computers, phones and other electronic devices during their ride.
Currently, USB ports are installed on 250 METRO buses, with plans to add the feature to all new bus purchases at a rate of about 100 buses per year. In a few years, most of our buses will have the feature. Check out our video below to see how you can stay plugged in on METRO.
Riding METRO is an affordable, environmentally-friendly way to get around the Houston area. Not having to worry about a cell phone battery dying during a commute only adds to the convenience of public transit.
So, hop on board, enjoy the ride and leave the driving to us.
