If you work for a non-profit organization or a public transit provider, you may be eligible to apply for federal grant money for programs designed to enhance mobility for seniors and persons with disabilities.
Grants are awarded through the Section 5310 Enhanced Mobility of Seniors and Individuals with Disabilities Grant Program for the Houston Urbanized Area.
METRO invites you to attend a pre-application workshop on Tuesday, Sept. 19, from 2:30 to 4:30 p.m. at our downtown headquarters at 1900 Main St. on the second floor.
METRO is the designated recipient for this program, which means it is responsible for the funds and their distribution for transit purposes.
